GUZ GUITARS CO.

A pioneering company in the manufacture of Cigar Box Guitars in Brazil, Guz Ferreiro, the founder of the brand, is a luthier specializing in the construction of Cigar Box Guitars and guitars, leading the Brazilian market since 2019.

As a result of this wonderful partnership with Guz Guitars Company, I play an exclusive Cigar Box Guitar made with the original 'The Edge' cigar box (the black one in the photo below), which I call "Cigana," and another made with a 'Joya de Nicaragua' cigar box (the white one below), which I call "Berlinda." Impeccable instruments with unique tones, inherent to the typical Cigar Box Guitars from the 1930s. 

Alongside the CBGs, I also play the "SG Signature Nanda Moura Blues" guitar by GuzGuitarsCo., a custom model meticulously crafted to capture the sonic qualities I seek for my music, drawing inspiration mainly from Delta Blues and Hill Country Blues. 

The excellence in craftsmanship and the exclusivity of each instrument are distinct features of Guz's work. It's definitely worth checking out.
